Our hosting journey began in Telluride, Colorado. GeigerHaus, an 8 bedroom ski-in/ski-out, alpine residence, offered mountain respite, adventure, peace, world-class skiing and hiking, and amazing San Juan views.

 

We hosted thousands of guests over the years and we were fortunate enough to have 100% 5 star reviews on VRBO. The vast majority of our guests were repeat visitors.

 

We sold GeigerHaus in 2018 and purchased the desert oasis you see here, built by Herb Drinkwater in 1994. Herb was Mayor of Scottsdale for 16 years, Scottsdale's longest running Mayor. Mayor Drinkwater was lovingly called 'Mr. Scottsdale' for his love and development of, and contributions to the Scottsdale community. Read more about mayor Drinkwater here.

Our experience with GeigerHaus helped us discover just how much we enjoy making wonderful vacation experiences possible for travelers. We cater to those looking for memorable gathering places where they can come together and enjoy the best that this life has to offer in some truly magical settings.

 

We began renovating the property in April 2018, and are now able to offer the Drinkwater Ranch Guest House as a vacation getaway. We hope our guests find this place as memorable and magical as we do.
